Samsung Q-Series HW-Q930C Soundbar Black

From the 2023 batch of Samsung soundbars, the HW-930C resembles the HW-Q800C model, itself a near carbon copy of the HW-Q800B.
It distinguishes itself from its sister system by the presence of a pair of surround satellites and two additional on-board speakers.
The promise is to offer even greater spatialization and immersion.
We invite you to read our review of the HW-Q800C for more detailed information, as here we’re only going to focus on the contribution of these two satellites and two speakers.
The two satellites included are identical in size to those accompanying the HW-Q990C, at 13 x 20 x 14 cm.
They benefit from the same level of finish as the bar and are built from the same materials, namely a plastic shell and a metal grille to protect the speakers.
However, they differ from those on the top-of-the-range model in that there is no speaker on the side – only the front and top of the satellite have a speaker.
The bar is also slightly different from the HW-Q800C in that it features two additional speakers.
The bar and its subwoofer are therefore capable of reproducing 7.1.2 channels, with the addition of the satellites bringing the reproduction to 9.1.4 channels.
